Six courses across two emirates, an hour and a half apart by road. The season runs October to April; in summer you play at dawn or under floodlights. Non-stop flights: about 6 hours from Moscow, 7 from London, under 5 from Almaty. Dubai is the world's busiest hub for international flights, so the UAE works as the first or the last stop of a longer trip.
The Middle East's first grass championship course, opened in 1988 and the regular home of the Dubai Desert Classic: 7,301 yards, par 72, fairways framed by the Dubai Marina skyline, with a metro station right outside the gate.
Greg Norman's course, where the DP World Tour Championship closes the season each November. Opened in 2009: 7,706 yards from the back tees, parkland style, white bunkers and water on the closing holes, 27 km from Downtown.
A city course from 1993 on the banks of Dubai Creek, ten minutes from the airport and the old town. A sail-shaped clubhouse, holes along the water and, since 2024, the DP World Tour's Dubai Invitational.
The youngest of the city's big courses, opened in late 2018: par 72, 7,283 yards from the black tees, five tee sets for every level. A few kilometres from Palm Jumeirah, managed by Troon.
The Middle East's first true links: 7,414 yards, eight holes along the Arabian Gulf, five tee positions on every hole. Opened in 2010, 5 km from Abu Dhabi airport; Golf World ranked it first in the region in 2025.
The Gulf's first beachfront course, opened in 2010 on Saadiyat Island, 10 km from central Abu Dhabi. 7,806 yards from the back tees, six holes with sea views, and a back nine recently reworked with Nicklaus Design.
Prices are guides based on the clubs' and booking platforms' published 2025/26 rates, with sources linked. In Dubai the green fee usually includes a cart (except the winter walking season) and peak rates apply Friday to Sunday. A handicap is required: up to 28 for men and 36 for women. We confirm the exact figure at booking.
