The course
Aquella occupies the northern part of the former Thai Muang golf course, reusing only about 30 percent of the old land. Fairways are sand-capped, and the whole course, tees to greens, is Platinum Paspalum. The bunkers have timber (railway-sleeper) faces, which is the look people remember. Bamboo tunnels link some holes.
The club describes multiple tees and wide, contoured fairways, with canals and sand running through the layout. The signature hole is the 11th, a 161-yard par 3 with a view of the Andaman Sea. The estate, developed by Pacific Century Premium Developments, adds villas, a restaurant, a spa, a range and mini golf.

Best months and heat
Thai Muang is on the Andaman coast, with the same calendar as Phuket. November to April is dry and in demand; May to October is the southwest monsoon, with more rain and lower prices. On Phuket, September averages about 325 mm of rain, January about 35 mm, and highs stay around 31 to 34°C all year.
Tee off before 8:00 or after 14:00. The twilight promo starts at 14:30, which fits the heat rule, but check sunset: an 18-hole round usually takes four and a half hours or more, so a late start may not finish in daylight. Bring water and an umbrella.
Getting there and how to book
By yourself. Book with the pro shop: +66 76 679 308, the golf email on aquellagolf.com, the tee-time form on the club site or Facebook Messenger (m.me/aquellagolf). Ask which promo applies to your date and confirm caddie and cart are in the price. By road, Aquella is north of the airport on the mainland side; from Patong or Kata allow well over an hour. Arrange a taxi or hired car both ways.
With us. Our hosted golf day costs from THB 31,900 per person with three guests: the host plays all 18 holes with your group, with hotel transfer, caddie, cart and lunch included. The standard golf-day courses are Blue Canyon, Red Mountain and Laguna. Aquella is not on that list, but the host can arrange a round there on request; we confirm availability and the price for your date before anything is booked.
